The Top 10 Michigan Concerts You Need to See This Summer
The summer of 2026 is shaping up to be a legendary one as far as live music goes in the state of Michigan.
Michigan’s Summer Concert Season Is Already Loaded
Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston has its usual slate of amazing concerts, as do Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill in Sterling Heights, Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, and Ford Field in Detroit.
2026 also marks the inaugural year for the new Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids, which is set to host nearly 50 concerts this season.

If past years are any indication, announcements for a few big shows this summer may still drop in the coming weeks.
We took a look at the concert calendar as it stands now between Memorial Day and Labor Day and try to pick out Michigan's "Top 10 Concerts You Need to See This Summer" — which proved to be no easy task.
The Shows That Could Break Records in 2026
Morgan Wallen's got to be on the list, right? Love him or hate him, he's set to become the first musical performer in history to perform concerts on back-to-back nights at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. Alt-country artist Zach Bryan set the record for the biggest concert in U.S. history in 2025 when he played for 112,408 people at "The Big House"; Wallen could very well eclipse that mark with either or both of his shows this July.
What about Mötley Crüe, Ed Sheeran, and Usher? They all made the cut. But artists like Mary J. Blige, Zac Brown Band and Luke Bryan — who all put on dynamic shows — didn't quite crack our Top 10.

Our list includes multiple genres of music, from country and pop to classic rock and hip-hop. Take a look below to see who made our "Top 10 Michigan Concerts You Need to See This Summer."
