Michigan, Michigan State, and Detroit fans know a thing or two about loyalty. That's why it's so important to have a gameplan if you're out of town or hitting the road on gamedays.

Luckily, there are bars across the country that are owned by, or that welcome, Michigan-based sports fans.

Here are some of the best that I was able to find:

Tin Lizzie: Chicago, IL

Since 2009, this bar has been for the Spartans and Lions fans of Chi-town. They're also known for their weekly turtle races — how fun!

Nothing better than singing out 'Gridiron Heroes' just six miles away from Solider Field.

Ivy and Coney: Washington, D.C.

Off rip, this bar's Instagram bio had me hooked. It reads:

DC's home for Chicago and Detroit Expats. And people who like to drink. And eat hot dogs. And baseball. And also drink.

Sign me the heck up! As their bio indicates, there are both Chicago dogs (ew!) and coney dogs (hell yeah) on the menu. And for being in D.C., it looks like their menu also includes a pretty promising Detroit-style pizza.

Duffy’s Tavern & Grille: Chicago, IL

If there's a bar for a Sparty party in Chicago, there better be one for Wolverines fans, too. Duffy's Tavern & Grille delivers just that. Per their IG bio, they're "Chicago's home for Michigan & Lions." And while their menu doesn't list anything that's too overtly Michigan, I did take notice of the fact that "housemade dill ranch" is listed. Bonus point to Duffy's.
