Update: Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell and his family faced multiple instances of harassment at their Bloomfield Township home. This included an incident in late January when his home address was shared on Snapchat following the team’s loss in the NFC Championship Game, as detailed in police reports obtained by The Detroit News.

The issues seem to have begun on New Year’s Eve, when township police were alerted that Coach Campbell's home was receiving numerous calls and visitors knocking at the door, according to the report.

The Detroit News' article shows a screenshot of a snapchat from Campbell's daughter's male classmate that reads:

Dumb f*** trying to go for it

Campbell's Daughter, Piper, was a senior at Detroit Country Day at the time.

Update: In additional reports according to MLive's Kory Woods, Dan Campbell and his family were harassed after the Lions 34-31 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship. Dan Campbell's immediate family consists of his wife Holly and his two kids Cody and Piper.

This one seriously bums me out to write. I love Detroit fans because we're passionate, but this is going way way wayyy too far.

Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell and his family are putting their Oakland County home on the market, reportedly due to security concerns. According to a recent report from Crain's Detroit Business, Campbell has listed the stunning property for an eye-popping $4.5 million.

“There’s plenty of space, it’s on two acres, the home is beautiful,” Campbell shared with Crain’s. “It’s just that people figured out where we lived when we lost.”

Campbell purchased the impressive 7,800-square-foot residence, built in 2013, back in 2021 for $3.5 million after stepping into his role as head coach. Just 24 hours after hitting the market, the house was already marked as "pending." It seems the new buyers are die-hard Lions fans—perhaps hoping to find some luck in the living room!

"The couple 'loved' the house, but security concerns necessitated the move to somewhere more private," Campbell explained on Wednesday. A bit of a tough sell for the coach who’s trying to navigate both the home front and the field.

So, while Campbell’s family seeks a new, more secure abode, Lions fans are left once again grappling with the harsh reality: even a coach can’t escape the scrutiny that comes with a franchise that’s known for its ups and downs.

But come on Lions fans, it's ONE loss. Be better than this.

The Detroit Lions will hit the field again on Sunday when they visit the Arizona Cardinals.
