What a Popular YouTuber Found While Driving Through Detroit at Night
See what a Popular YouTuber and ex-cop experienced while driving through some of Detroit's rougher neighborhoods this summer.
Earlier this summer, YouTuber CharlieBo313 took to the streets of Detroit to share with his viewers what the streets really look like at night.
Let's back up a little first and tell you a bit about Charlie Moore, aka CharlieBo313, and what he does that has made his YouTube channel so popular over the years.
I saw an article back in 2020 describing Moore as a YouTuber who treats the inner city like a safari. Honestly, there is no better way to describe what he does. Moore drives through some of the roughest cities in America (and sometimes Mexico) while filming what he sees. He doesn't narrate or judge his experience; he simply records it for his viewers.
Moore's videos essentially pull back the curtain on neighborhoods most viewers would never experience in their lifetime, especially at night.

In a video released a few weeks ago, Moore drives through what he calls 'Detroit's Real Streets at Night.' He captures what most would consider strange behavior, including people wrestling outside a gas station, bizarre interactions on the streets, heavy police presence, and more.
Moore's YouTube channel, which has 750,000 subscribers, is loaded with wild and dangerous videos from around the country.
