Discover Honcho Fuego: Fenton’s New Latin Street Food Gem

Honcho Fuego in downtown Fenton is open for business.

ICYMI - the Fenton Firehall announced its closure at the end of March 2025, and the new spot was already in the works.

Talk about a quick turnaround, as of today, Monday, April 7th, 2025, Honcho Fuego is ready to serve you delicious Latin street food.

According to a Facebook post, a soft opening is now underway. If you are like me, and super excited to check out the new Honcho Fuego, please be patient and considerate to staff during this learning curve.

What hours is Honcho Fuego open?

According to a recent Facebook post, soft-opening hours are as follows,

• Monday: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Tuesday: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Thursday: 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM

A complete menu has not been shared yet, but I will have that information for you this week. I plan to visit Honcho Fuego to get it firsthand.

Honcho Fuego is located at 201 South Leroy Street, 48430. The new spot is owned by Union Joints, who also own several other businesses, including the following,

• Clarkston Union Bar & Kitchen
• Gran Castor
• Union Woodshop, Gran Castor, and
• Honcho Latin Food & Coffee
• Vincetta Garage
