Southfield Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect in Michaels ‘Peeping Tom’ Incident
Southfield Police are searching for a man accused of being a 'Peeping Tom' at a Michaels store in Michigan and are hoping the public can help identify him.
This is beyond creepy. On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, a mother and her nine-year-old daughter were using separate restroom stalls at the Michaels store located at 28550 Telegraph Road in Southfield.
The young girl noticed a hand holding a cell phone and taking her picture above the stall, and according to Click on Detroit, she immediately started to scream for her mother.
According to FOX 2 Detroit, security camera footage from the store managed to capture images of the suspect. Investigators are now reviewing the video and asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual. Authorities hope that someone who recognizes the person in the footage will come forward with a name to assist in the ongoing investigation.
You can see the store security footage in the video below.
As you can imagine, the unidentified mother and daughter were deeply shaken and distressed by the incident, leaving them frightened and unsettled by what had occurred
Although the footage may not be crystal clear, I am guessing it will not take long to identify this guy.
