Michigan’s Rad, Bodacious and Totally Tubular 80s Fest is Back!
Bust out your leg warmers, shoulder pads and spandex! It's time to head back to the decade of loud music, big hair and neon colors, the 1980s.
What Is 'Bringin' Back the 80s Fest'?
This year is the 20 year anniversary of the beloved event which takes place in Michigan's Little Bavaria. The first event happened way back in 2005.

The 80s Fest was initially set up in memory of Jill Zehnder. She sadly passed away in 1999 at the young age of 43 after a battling with cancer. All proceeds go to local cancer-related organizations.
Schedule for Friday 4/25/2025
Open 6 until Midnight on April 25th, there is no age limit for admission. However you should be warned that some things may not be suitable for all ages.
At 6pm, the doors open with a DJ spinning your favorites from the 80s. Also starting at 6 the Hair Salon Opens providing event goers with the perfect 80s hairstyle. The Retro Rec Room will also be open from 6 until Midnight. Then get pumped for the 6:45 Vertical Ambition Breakdancing Show.

At 7pm on Friday, the Best Dressed Contest Registration ends with the actual contest starting at 7:30. After that, Sunset Blvd. will be live on stage until the end of the night.
Schedule for Saturday 4/26/2025
Saturday's scheduled of events is only open to those over 21. Doors open at 5pm with a live DJ, the Hair Salon will open (until 9pm). The Retro Rec Room will also be open throughout the duration of Saturday's events.
The Vertical Ambition Breakdancing Show starts at 5:30pm, and registration for the Best Dressed Contest Registration ends at 6. The contest itself will start at 6:15.
The Jon Fett Quartet hits the stage live at 7pm, then at 9pm don't miss the The 1985 Totally 80’s Mixtape goes live!
Local DJ and announcer Jeremy Fenech will be your host for many of the events. Come out and relive the nostalgia of the great 1980s!
