J.Cole Doesn’t Break Leg, But Does Sprain Ankle and Postpones Shows

Reports stating  J.Cole broke his leg were all over the internet this past weekend. But the Roc Nation rapper didn’t break his leg.

He did, however, sprain his ankle and had to cancel his shows in Florida this past weekend.

A rep contacted Vibe.com to clear up the rumors and explained that J.Cole “badly, badly sprained” his ankle during a pickup game of basketball this past Saturday.

While spending time in the emergency room, the rapper logged into Twitter and apologized to his fans in Florida.  “Ankle on swole. This is a minor setback, yo, still in all we livin,” he tweeted.

While this minor setback resulted in Cole’s Orlando concert being rescheduled for September 30 and his  Ft. Lauderdale/Miami concert being rescheduled for October 1, it shouldn’t delay promotion for Cole’s much anticipated debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story, which  comes out September 27.
