Jay Z, Solange and Beyonce Finally Release An Official Statement About The Elevator Fight

After every possible rumor has been put online, Jay Z, Beyonce, and Solange have finally released an official statement regarding the elevator fight video.

So WHAT was the cause of the fight?!

Well they didn't actually say that in the statement, so I guess that gives the rumors free reign again.  So what did they say in their official statement to the Associated Press?  See for yourself,

As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," the statement said. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

This is just about as perfect as a statement can get.  Both Jay and Solange take responsibility for a private affair that went public, and apologized.  So why didn't they give the exact reason for the fight?  The answer is simple . . .

THEY DON'T HAVE TO! 

It's a private family matter that someone saw as an opportunity to get rich from.  That person got paid about a quarter of a million dollars, and lost their job in turn.

This should be the end of it, but as we all know, that's not how the internet works.

I don't want to sound like a hypocrite, but the video below still has me laughing.
