Jay Z doesn’t normally tweet but when he does - everybody reads it. On Wednesday (Nov. 2), the Roc Nation CEO jumped on his Twitter account to hype up his upcoming "Get Out the Vote” concert in support of Hillary Clinton in Cleveland on Friday (Nov. 4).

Ohio is an important battleground state for both presidential hopefuls, and Clinton has been trailing in polling numbers among voters in that state. Jay hopes that with his concert he will encourage young people to go to the polls on Nov. 8 and make history by voting in the first woman president of the United States.

"11/4 Cleveland. Let's make history (again)," Hov tweeted. "Thank you to the incredible artist dedicating their time this Friday!"

Jay-Z also shared a screenshot of a quote from noted political activist Elie Wiesel: "We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must -- at that moment -- become the center of the universe."

Jay Z won't be alone for his special concert in Cleveland. Los Angeles-based band 1500 or Nothin' will be backing him up with surprise guests expecting to grace the stage as well.

Get ready! Jay Z is about to rock Cleveland!
