Jon Connor Is Prepping For New ‘Vehicle City’ Album

Jon Connor fans in Flint and around the country have been waiting for new music for a while, and it looks like Connor is finally going to oblige.

The album is tentatively called 'Vehicle City', in obvious homage to his hometown of Flint.  From what we know, the music is done, and now Connor is in the process of picking which tracks make the cut.

Connor has also hinted on Instagram that there will be a few features on the upcoming album.  He has already worked with Keke Palmer on 'Fresh Water For Flint', and there are some other big names on the list.

Cece Peniston, Shanica Knowles and many others have shown up in pictures on Connor's Instagram.

While there is no release date for 'Vehicle City', Jon did hint to me that it would be out before the summer.

When we talked, I teased him about how long it has been since he released any new music, and that he must be ready to explode.  Remember that this is guy who dropped about 4 projects in one year.

He laughed and said that picking the final songs for the album was definitely going to be a tough job.  Check out the interview Connor did with Artimis when he stopped by Club 93.7 last month.
