Following this month's controversy over Kanye West's seemingly undersized slides at 2 Chainz's wedding, 'Ye has offered a pretty funny response. Yesterday (Aug. 30) he shared photos on Twitter of himself wearing an extremely oversized version of the Yeezy slippers in question.

One image offers a bird's eye view of the shoes, which are massive, and a mirror selfie offers an alternate angle. "Are the slides big enough," West captioned the first picture, adding a Face with Tears of Joy emoji and four Fire emojis.

Kanye then posted a photoshopped version of his original wedding fit with his feet comically enlarged. It seems he's having fun playing with proportions because he also tweeted a photo of a supersized slipper version of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Beluga."

The rapper, producer and designer originally caught flack for pairing his suit at 2 Chainz's nuptials with a pair of Yeezy Nylon Slippers that didn't extend the entire length of his feet, leaving room for his heels to hang off the back end. He later explained on Twitter that he was wearing the sandals "the Japanese way."

While the fit sparked plenty of jokes and memes, not everyone agreed. West's longtime friend Virgil Abloh, currently Louis Vuitton's men's artistic director, called the look "the most important outfit of recent memory."
