Hip-Hop stands in solidarity with the Battle Rap community following the untimely passing of Tech 9.

After Buttah From The Block used his Facebook account to announce the Philly rapper's passing earlier today (March 25), artists from all areas of hip-hop expressed their condolences to the family of Philadelphia native and even shared their favorites bars from the experienced battle rapper. So far, Denzel Curry, Lupe Fiasco, Kendrick Lamar and more have eulogized Tech 9 in their own way.

"THEY SAY MY FACE DONT LOOK THE SAME WITH THE STOCK-" K. Dot tweeted in reference to one of Tech's most memorable bars. "Condolences to the family of the late great Tech9 of philly. Rest well."

For his part, Lupe paid his respects while mentioning Tech's legacy as a battle rapper.

"Rip Tech 9...one of the most entertaining battle rappers. Condolences to his family and friends. May God have mercy on his soul," tweeted the Chicago rapper.

On a note similar to Lupe's, Mad Skillz also notes Tech 9's place in battle rap history. He says Tech is the one who helped get him to take note of the battle rap scene.

"RIP to Tech 9 from Philly...1st cat who really made me pay attention to the new cats coming up battle rapping," Skillz tells his Twitter timeline. "He was so ill. Insane wit the presence and bars. Man I loved watching that dude. Wish I met him so I cdve told him how much I loved his work. Smh."

As of this report, the details surrounding Tech 9's death have not been revealed.
