Kite Surfer Jumps A Pier During Tropical Storm Debby [Video]

Tropical storm Debby blew into Florida over the weekend and while some were finding cover, one kite surfer was finding the jump of his life.

The whole thing was caught on tape by some tourists watching from their hotel room.

From the dialogue you get the feeling that they have been watching him for quite a while.  He finally ramps up to build up some speed and go for the jump.

As he easily sails over the pier you hear tons of people screaming!  It turns out that pretty much everyone in the hotel has been watching him from their balcony.  This stunt was as dumb as it was cool, but kudos to the guy who did it.
