Lil Nas X admits that he has never been to a concert as a fan, and reveals Lil Uzi Vert's recent set was his first show ever.

During an interview after his Rolling Loud set in Miami posted Wednesday (May 14), the "Old Town Road" artist tells HITS 97.3's Kimmy B that he had never been to a concert as a fan in his life prior to hip-hop's biggest music festival. Later on, he admits that Lil Uzi Vert's set on the final day of Rolling Loud was the first time he'd ever been in the audience of a concert.

"My first show that I've ever been to was literally like last night when I snuck into Lil Uzi Vert's set," Lil Nas X admits. "It was crazy."

We're just as shocked as Kimmy B is, but not too surprised. Although his song has topped the charts for about six weeks now, Nas X hit the stage for the first time in his music career at 2019 Stagecoach County Music Festival alongside Billy Ray Cyrus and Diplo, who debuted his remix of "Old Town Road" a few weeks ago.

Before his comments about Uzi's set, Lil Nas X was also asked about artists who have influenced him thus far. The Atlanta native replied by naming Drake as his main muse for making music.

"If I had to choose, then it has to be Drake because you know his ability to move with the times."
