I do not know much about the actual game of football, but I do enjoy watching the Super Bowl every year. There are two very specific reasons I like watching the big game,

  1. Football squares
  2. Halftime show

There is nothing better than scoring some quick cash during the game and the halftime show always features big names. Regardless of the genre of music, bands and artists go big when it comes to entertaining the masses. Have I loved every artist that has played the halftime show in the past? No, but I do appreciate the work that goes into pulling off a great performance in a limited amount of time.

Eminem will not be performing alone at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles. Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar will be taking the stage as well. Will the artists perform together? That remains to be seen. If anything, I am hoping Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre do something together.

Earlier this month, a teaser video was released featuring each performer. 'The Call' (see below) was directed by filmmaker F. Gary Gray. If you are not familiar, Gray directed countless movies including 'Friday', 'Set it Off', 'Italian Job' and more.

Super Bowl LVI will be played on Sunday, February 13th in California at SoFi Stadium. I would say 'may the best team win' - but honestly, I am more concerned with my football squares being winners and of course the snack. Bring on the chicken wings and nachos.
