If you think about the history of hip hop and all of the record labels that are involved in this business, it is a common question to have the debate of the greatest hip hop label. There are many variables involved in this conversation, best artist, most influential, and which company made the most money along with many other variables.At one point and even in some instances now, Shady Records was one of the most influential hip hop record labels out.

They had 2 of the most influential rappers in pop culture, I'm talking about Eminem and 50 Cent, along with the most controversial hip hop group at that time D-12.

Then add in the master chef (Dr. Dre) to stir up this odd mix of ingredients, and you have Shady Records.

Complex wanted to commemorate Shady Records 15 year anniversary discussing the birth of Shady Records with manager Paul Rosenburg, Eminem, 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.
