Nike App Not Working After Travis Scott Drops New Shoe and Fans Are Pissed
Travis Scott's new shoe, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Mocha, has the internet going nuts. The sneakers dropped on Saturday (May 11), and apparently they are a very hot ticket. Fans trying to buy the new kicks off the Nike SNKRS app have run into issues and they are sounding off on social media.
Scott's new Nike collab runs for $175. People are more than willing to pay the fee but have had major problems trying to give Nike their money. "Damn @trvisXX gotta give it up to you. This is probably gonna be the shoe of the year and it would have been dope to purchase such art especially while being a huge fan of yours," one person tweeted. "Too bad the @Nike app stayed playing. RT if you felt this."
Others were not as chill about the circumstances. "I’m fucking hot," another Twitter user added. "For 30 minutes the @nike app hasn’t been accepting my payment and then the app crashes and now they’re sold out."
Sneakerheads and fans of the Astroworld rapper alike are feeling the pain. "It suck having the money to actually buy this shit and can’t Ik the Nike app ain’t your fault be damn I hope you see this shit," someone else noted.
