Cardi B, G-Eazy and More Mourn Nipsey Hussle During Memorial
As the life and legacy of the Nipsey Hussle continue to be celebrated, more and more of his famous friends, family and admirers have spoken out in honor of the late rapper, for whom a special memorial was held in Los Angeles' Staples Center today (April 11).
One person who gave props to Nipsey was Cardi B, who thanked the Grammy-nominated artist for his contributions via Twitter.
“Thank you Nipsey for inspiring 💙I have learned a lot these past two weeks and the world has also.🕊🙏🏼," Cardi wrote in a post dedicated to Nipsey, who was shot and killed in front of his clothing store, The Marathon, on March 31.
Also showing love was G-Eazy, who, like Nip, hails from California. “Rest in power to a legend. Thinking about you and your family today, and the immense contributions you made. Your memory will NEVER fade,” Eazy wrote.
Swizz Beatz, who appears in the program given out during Nip’s memorial, used his Instagram account to say, “Cheers one more time King🙏🏽 #nipseyhussle Blessings to the people that love you 🙏🏽 Rest up King 🙌🏽 They’re doing it real Big for you today 💙I know you’re looking down proud my brother 🙌.”
