Since being arrested and turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for allegedly being an illegal immigrant on Sunday (Feb. 3), 21 Savage has become a subject of countless memes making fun of his predicament. Now, Offset, who dropped off a joint project with Savage a little over a year ago, has come forward to explain why those memes are wrong.

Using his Twitter account, 'Set made it clear that 21's current situation is no laughing matter.

"ALL THE MEMES AND SHIT AINT FUNNY WHEN SOMEBODY GOING THROUGH SOME
PRAYING FOR MY DAWG," Offset began. "AINT SHIT FUNNY HIS FANILY
DEPENDING ON HIM."

While we can't narrow down any particular tweet that made Offset speak out, one social media post that caught the internet's attention came from singer Demi Lovato. Tweeting from her account today, Lovato claimed that she was enjoying the 21 Savage memes. Responding to her was Wale, who reminded Demi that she was also getting made fun of when she entered rehab for drug addiction last year.

"Why is somebody freedom funny ... I don’t get the joke," Wale wrote in one tweet. "A lot of people were sending you love light , prayers etc . When people were making jokes about u at a rough time. A lot of people .Bless up," Wale wrote in his second response. Lovato has since deleted the tweet.
