Superstardom is hard to come by; there's no set path there and you'll also have to capitalize on your talents, whatever they may be. Migos, our Winter Issue cover stars, worked diligently at their craft from early on; Quavo, Takeoff and Offset are seen as three talented rappers, within a group or solo. Last year, Offset became well-known for his fire guest verses. Here in 2018, little has changed, as he's still snapping like he has something to prove.

Offset's 2017 run is well-documented, with his and Metro Boomin's collab "Ric Flair Drip" playing literally everywhere; most rap fans were well aware of how hard he was going on other artists' tracks. Now, we'll walk you through his best feature verses of 2018. 'Set has worked with a litany of artists, from QC compatriots Lil Baby and Lil Yachty, to his now-estranged wife Cardi B, fellow Atlanta rappers like 2 Chainz and Trouble, and much more. No matter who he's rapping alongside, one thing is for certain; Offset comes prepared.

A perfect example of Offset showing just how easy it is for him to get into his bag is Young Thug's "On The Run," from Thugger's similarly titled EP. The song was first released sans Offset's verse, then updated soon after. With Offset's verse going live on a song that was already really good, he had to shine. And he did, getting lines off like "Aston Martin with the seat Pop-Tart/Get up in the field, yeen got enough heart/Hunnid thousand have a nigga dad on milk cartons." His ability to seamlessly bounce between bragging and the reality of the streets has become his calling card. Plus, he makes it all seem so easy.

It also goes without saying that Offset's way with words and charisma worked perfectly on Tyga's "Taste," a song that is easily one of the most popular of the year. The song is where Offset can just let his hair down and have fun, while not taking a dip lyrically. Considering the video is at nearly half a billion views, it's truly the verse heard 'round the world.

Below, you'll find the 10 best Offset guest verses from 2018. With as many highlights as he has, it was hard to narrow down, but enjoy these select cuts from another strong year.
