Just a bit more than a day after the surfacing of reports that he was wanted for murder in Georgia, Q Money has been arrested.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, the 23-year-old, born Qamar Williams, was taken into custody on a felony murder charge on Thursday (April 18). In the warrant for his arrest, which was issued on Monday (April 15), it's reported that the Cleveland area rapper "allegedly caused the death of Calvin Alexander Chappell by shooting him multiple times with a handgun on April 15 at a Decatur, Georgia residence."

On Wednesday (April 17), The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that witnesses said the Avon, Ohio rapper, whom XXL profiled for The Break last October, was found standing over the victim, whom the report doesn't name, on Monday.

The police report states that after seeing Q standing over the dead body, his roommate ran to wake the victim’s cousin’s and the pair took the gun away from the rapper. From there, they reportedly forced Q Money out of their home and locked him out.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office says Q Money was arrested without incident. XXL has reached out to Q Money's team for comment.
