With his new album, Fly International Luxurious Art, just weeks away, Raekwon delivers the album's third single, an ode to hip-hop’s golden era with the Snoop Dogg-assisted “1,2 1,2.”

The bass and horn heavy Scoop DeVille-produced track finds the Chef getting back to his grimy, poetic flow. “The rap surgeon fix the game up, crack merchant / Everything I sell is well, my s--- is that worthy / GATs that come up out the ceiling with the beam on it / Chinese Queen, Parasuco jeans on her / Rock long jeans, known for throwing blings on her/ I stay king,” he rhymes on the opening verse.

After a head-nodding hook over a classic Issac Hayes sample, Snoop comes in on the second verse adding the West Coast gangsta rap touch only he can deliver.  “1,2 1,2,” showcases Raekwon’s versatility as a cinematic storyteller and offers a different approach to hip-hop in comparison to the album’s second single “Wall to Wall,” featuring French Montana and Busta Rhymes.

In a recent exclusive interview with The Boombox, Raekwon compared the forthcoming opus to a lauded Martin Scorsese film. "I think the album would be more like Casino, starring Robert De Niro," he said. "He’s one of my favorite actors. That’s how I do look at my music. Fly International Luxurious Art is not only a really good adventure, but it’s an album where you don’t have to worry about being bored with it."

Fly International Luxurious Art (F. I.L.A.) will also feature other hip-hop heavy-weights including Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky and Ghostface Killah. Raekwon’s sixth album drops on April 28.
