Eminem. Legendary rapper, accomplished producer and business mogul, and, according to boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya, a pretty damn good boxer.

During a recent appearance on DJ Whoo Kid's Shade 45 radio show, the boxer-turned-fight promoter revealed that his former trainer, the late Emmanuel Steward, once trained Eminem. Steward showed De La Hoya a video of Em's training session, and the renowned fighter walked away impressed with The Marshall Mathers LP rapper.

"Man, he has some moves," De La Hoya said of 'Em's boxing technique. "He looked really good actually. With a lot of power."  De La Hoya then joked that maybe he and 'Em could have a charity boxing match, saying that he could drop weight to fight the Detroit rapper.

DJ Whoo Kid quipped that he didn't want a match between Em and De La Hoya to turn out like the now-canceled celebrity boxing match between Chris Brown and Soulja Boy. De La Hoya responded by simply reaffirming his claim that 'Em actually has what it takes to step into the ring.

Shortly after that, De La Hoya mentions 50 Cent's love of boxing and how he and the "Many Men" rapper once promoted a boxing match together. Unfortunately for 50, De La Hoya's fighter beat his.

In other Eminem-related news, the Detroit stalwart recently invested in a sneaker stock market startup called StockX. You can read more about that here.
