If there’s a shadow of a doubt about Royce da 5’9” and Eminem’s lyrical acumen, you will be convinced after watching their new video for “Caterpillar.”

The Detroit rhyme-slingers, better known as Bad Meets Evil, deliver pound-for-pound the dopest, lyrical fire you will hear (and see) this year. The visual, directed by James Larese, boasts visual effects by Timbe and a black-and-white photo shot by veteran journalist Noah Callahan-Bever. The clip also features King Green on the hook.

In Em's verse, he verbally slaps wack rappers, especially those who mumble.

"You make a wack song and can't hold a candle / But even Daniel-son whacks off / You jack-offs need to come to grips like a hand job / The boom-bap is coming back with an axe to mumble rap / Lumberjack with a hacksaw / Number one, but my pencils are number twos 'cause that's all I dos with 'em," he spits.

In addition to the "Caterpillar" video, there's also a remix featuring Logic that appears as a bonus track on Royce da 5'9"'s new album Book of Ryan, which hits digital stores on Friday (May 4). This is Royce's seventh solo project and his most personal yet.

You can also hear Royce get lyrically busy on the PRhyme 2 album, his collaborative project with DJ Premier.
