A new bill is on its way to the Senate floor allowing for Michigan bars to stay open till 4 a.m. instead of 2 a.m. The idea is that the extra 2 hours will help compensate for the economic damage caused by the pandemic.  The bill’s sponsor, Republican Representative Ryan Berman argued changing the law would provide local governments with another tool to help offset sales losses during the pandemic.

They should've just said that they're banning alcohol and left out the part about COVID-19.

Apparently a big quarantine time activity in the U.S. is... boozing.

This certainly won't add to the holiday cheer. Distribution issues could make your favorite liquor hard to find just when you need it most: the holidays.

Now I've heard of digging for gold, but never have I heard of digging for booze.
