Meet James 'JT' Thigpen Jr.   James Thigpen Jr.  known as JT to most is a 25 year old Flint Native with numerous creative gifts.  He is a Graphic Artist/ Photographer who holds multiple awards for his work.  In 2011 he became a board member for Buckham Art Gallery which allowed him to do a few projects with the community.

Meet TaWanna Anderson. TaWanna Anderson is a 29 years old and is a Flint native who is also a mother.  TaWanna graduated from Carmen Ainsworth High School in 2000 and received her Associates degree from Baker College in Applied Science.

Meet Toni White.  Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Toni White graduated from Northern High School. Distracted by the negativity in Flint, Toni took immediate interest in writing.

Jimmy Kimmel had David Alan Grier on his show Tuesday night and they took a moment to discuss 'Black History Month'. Luckily they had a clip from a Charlie Brown special to help them out, because the 'Peanuts' gang really nailed it.

Meet Ed 'The Future' Wilson.  The Future is a native of Flint, Michigan. The Future graduated  from Flint Northern High School and received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan Flint in Mass Communication Media Studies.

Edith Prunty Spencer came to Flint with her husband in 1950 and quickly began to leave her loving mark on our community.
