Every year we hope never to hear news like this at the start off the school year but unfortunately a CMU student was found dead near the campus and now her identity has been revealed.  Keep the family and friends in your prayers.

"Go! Fire Up Chips!"  That was the chant heard around Michigan last night as Eric Fisher, from Central Michigan University, made NFL Draft history last night.

Reports came in last night about an attempted abduction of a female Central Michigan University student on campus near the Student Activities Center (SAC).  The victim is safe, and police are reporting that the abductor has been caught.
