Penn State University's Board of Trustees cleaned house by firing longtime football coach Joe Paterno, as well as university president Graham Spanier. This was a move to clean up the mess and move on in the best interests of the university according to a spokesperson.  However the general population of Happy Valley did not agree, and rioted in the streets all night. Legendary coach Joe Paterno may be in his final days on the sidelines at Penn State, according to The New York Times. The report cites two unnamed sources close to the PSU Board of Trustees who say that, while the exact timing and manner of his exit is still being discussed, it is clear that Paterno will not be back to coach the Nittany Lions next season.
