Former Boston Bruin and Genesee County High School Hockey League player Tim Thomas is finally getting his kudos.

Rico Phillips has always put his heart into the Flint Inner City Youth Hockey League, and last night he received recognition from the NHL.

Rico Phillips is a staple in Flint hockey, and is now one of three people nominated for the NHL's Willie O'Reed Community Hero Award.
