In the movie ‘Project X,’ a few teenagers decide to raise their social rankings by throwing an epic party that goes wrong. But here in the real world, doing that can get you in serious trouble — especially if you’re dumb enough to post a public invite.

Another party thrown at a Houston house, inspired by the movie "Project X", has ended in violence. The party attracted between 500-1000 people and was supposed to copy the party thrown in the hit movie. Trash cans of spiked punch were everywhere, wet foam blanketed the floor, and women in bikinis got in free.
