Created in 1866 by Detroit pharmacist James Vernor, this tasty drink has been a source of pride and deliciousness for Michiganders. There is actually a really cool story behind the ale and even a celebration coming up soon to honor the beloved beverage.
So I was sitting back and thinking about a couple of things people in Flint love and I came up with Faygo Red Pop and Vernors. I grew up drinking them both but now that I don’t drink pop anymore, I can only lean on memories. After discussing it with new intern Eric Lundy, I figure we should see which pop should be the king of Flint.
