A tattoo artist from Newfield, New Jersey, implanted four magnets into his arm to hold his iPod Nano in place without a strap. Dave Hurban documented the process on video, naming the project ‘iDermal.'
The footage shows the 21-year-old man, whose arms and neck are covered in colorful tattoos, making holes on his left wrist and inserting four small, round magnets.

The result? The iPod clicks into place on his arm, resembling a strapless watch.

He says the magnets, called micro-dermal anchors, are common in body piercing and are not that odd.
