Undoubtedly, a lot of people were thrilled when Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish said they were officially back together as the Cool Kids and dropped the single "Running Man," featuring Maxo Cream.

Today (Nov. 17), the two Illinois natives released their new cut "Connect 4," and not only is it a straight-up head-nodder, both MCs have gotten even better and have lost nothing in terms of group chemistry.

In July, Chuck said he phoned his friend and musical collaborator and told him that they need to add more layers to the foundation they built. The rappers also believe that a lot of MCs have taken their style, so they wanted to reclaim it and introduce new styles at the same time.

"I called Mikey and realized nothing would feel better than us being the originators again," he tweeted. "The Cool Kids are back for real ... The hiatus is over. We missed being us. We refuse to let people down and not be the actual group. We been through too much. So prepare for things to go back the way they were supposed to be."

Next up is the group's Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe LP that'll be their first project since 2011's When Fish Ride Bicycles.
