After Tyrese called out Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for delaying the next installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, the affable actor went on his Instagram page to address the singer-actor’s grievance with him.

In the clip above, the Rock is performing his daily workout routine of arm pull-ups with a huge chain around his neck. After doing his reps, he turns to the camera and says, “Putting in work. Big dogs eat, little crying puppies stay on the porch."

In the caption, it reads in part, "Big dogs eat. As many of you know, it ain’t a size or gender thing...it’s a mentality thing. Shout to all my big dogs around the [world] as we’re over here quietly on our weekend grind earning sweat equity. Because at the end of the day, we’re always willing to put in the raw hard work for the one thing we relentlessly chase daily - the results."

Clearly, this is a shot at Tyrese who accused the Rock of ruining the cast’s camaraderie supposedly for the sake of his own personal interests.

But Vin Diesel, who is arguably the face of the Fast and Furious franchise, went on his IG account and posted an image of himself and the Rock along with a message to the fans. "As we plot the course to expand the Fast & Furious universe, one must be mindful to take stock of the roads we took to get here," he wrote. "The pillars of authenticity, family and most importantly, our loyal fans' perspective has been instrumental in procuring success."

"However, like any vehicle that has run around the globe 8 times, the franchise is in need of maintenance," he continued. "We have some very exciting news to share soon... stay tuned."

According to rumors, it looks like a Fast and Furious spin-off featuring the Rock's character Hobbs is in the works. This may explain why the next Fast and Furious movie is delayed.

Meanwhile, fans on Twitter chimed in to remind Tyrese to not mess with the Rock who could possibly put him to sleep with a wrestling hold.
