Tick App Is A Must Have For Michiganders This Summer
Questions about ticks? There's an app for that. Do you want to find out information on tick activity and nearby tick encounters? There's an app for that. Do you want to find out how to safely remove a tick if someone is bitten? There's an app for that.
We told you last month that Michigan ticks are going to be brutal this year. The havoc these SOB's can wreak on you and your pet(s) is unreal. From flu like symptoms and rashes, to Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever - ticks are no freaking joke.
That being said, we are not going to stay holed up in our houses all summer long. You can still enjoy the outdoors and this Tick App can certainly help with that. When you download The Tick App you will be able to report tick sightings, identify ticks, and the app provides information on tick safety and how to prevent tick bites. The Tick App is your 'go to' for anything and everything tick related.
Have you ever experienced a tick bite? To my knowledge I have not, and I don't plan on it anytime soon. Whenever you come in from the outdoors check yourself, check your kids, check yourself.
Downloading the app is easy (duh). You can grab it on Google Play or from your App Store. You can also visit The Tick App website. Here is to a summer of not being controlled by freaking ticks!
After work tonight I will definitely be stopping for tick spray (and a bottle of something). I call it preventative maintenance.
