Tigers Advance To ALCS Against The Red Sox + Post A Cool Justin Verlander Picture

Justin Verlander took the mound in game 5 against the A's and did what he has done his entire career, led the Tigers to another huge win.

Shortly after Verlander pitched 8 scoreless innings and the Tigers picked up the win, he was doused with champagne in the locker room.  He hit twitter and put up a great picture and quote that sums up playoff baseball.

The Tigers know that the time for celebrating is short lived though as they have to get ready to take on the Red Sox in the American League Championship.

Game 1 is Saturday night in Boston with Anibal Sanchez on the mound for Detroit.  Do you think that this is the Tigers year?
