As 2018 draws closer to its end, conversations are beginning to center around which songs and albums should be contenders to be hailed as best of this year. While Travis Scott’s Astroworld will likely be included in these discussions, in the meantime, his “Sicko Mode” track continues to expand its shelf-life.

Today (Nov. 28), a new remix of the song was released, with reputed electronic DJ Skrillex showcasing his distinctive dubstep-leaning influences.

The remix, which spans five minutes, goes through several beat changes, including a super bass heavy sequence and a synth-laden approach to when Drake’s vocals appear on the song. All in all, the remix sounds exactly what fans of Skrillex would anticipate.

In addition to dropping the seemingly out-of-left-field collaboration with Skrillex, Scott also recently released a visual for the song. As fans can recall, the Astroworld cut eventually peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this summer. The album has since been certified platinum.

Perhaps Scott, who is currently on tour, will be incorporating the EDM remix into his signature high energy sets from here on out.
