Stars of every genre celebrated Halloween 2016 with outlandish costumes, many of which touched on pop culture references spanning from politicians to Internet memes. And while there were several impressive options to choose from, we're turning to our PopCrush readers to pick the best of the bunch.

Kylie Jenner's dutiful recreation of a 2002 Christina Aguilera -- circa her Dirrty era -- was a perfectly executed throwback, while Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall chose to take heavy inspiration from RuPaul's Drag Race star Detox in her attempt at a 1950s black-and-white film star.

Katy Perry, meanwhile, went the political route with her prosthetics-heavy Hillary Clinton likeness. Colton Haynes also employed the use of prosthetic nose and breasts for his costume as Miss Piggy.

Teyana Taylor channeled Internet sensation Joanne the Scammer, while Bette Midler dressed as her Hocus Pocus character Winifred Sanderson.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas opted for a joint costume, dressing as Dorothy and Scarecrow, respectively. Beyonce also went the group route, as she, daughter Blue Ivy and mother Tina Knowles channeled Salt-N-Pepa this year.
