Ahmed Mohamed Talks About Being Arrested At Texas School Over Clock [Video]

After being arrested for bringing his homemade clock to school to show to his engineer teacher and fellow students, Ahmed Mohamed talked to the media about the incident.

Ahmed Mohamed was arrested at his school and suspended for three days after his teacher thought his homemade clock was a bomb. Since the incident occurred on Tuesday, Mohamed has been cleared of all charges. Mohamed (surrounded by his family and lawyer) came out of his house on Wednesday to talk about the incident. His family provided food for the media while waiting to speak to Mohamed. Unlike most press conferences where a lawyer speaks for his or her client, Mohamed spoke directly to the media.

This kid is bright. There's not doubt about that. It's sad that we live in a world where we judge based on color. Hopefully Ahmed will realize that not everyone in America is judgmental and he will continue to do what he loves.
