Big Sean, and his mom are hoping to give kids another path to success by introducing them to 'Mogul Prep' while he is on the road with the 'I Decided' tour.

Mogul Prep is a program that shows students how to form a career in the entertainment industry.  The curriculum was developed by Sean and his mom, who happens to know a thing or two about teaching considering she was a teacher in Detroit.

Big Sean talked about the program, and what goals he hoped would be realized.

Mogul Prep is relevant and real world. I hope students enjoy it, and most importantly, I hope it helps them reach the success that they are meant for.

The program has been implemented in some Detroit schools for a little over a year now, and Sean is trying to expose it to the rest of the country.

The best way to do that is to use the nationwide 'I Decided' tour that is kicking off this month.  One of the coolest parts about this combination is that students interested in the program can apply to actually come back stage before his show, and see what goes into the set up for the show.

So far only four shows are offering that opportunity, and they are:

  • April 1st in Detroit
  • April 8th in Silver Spring Maryland
  • April 18th in Atlanta
  • April 20th in Miami

If you're interested in being a part of the Mogul Prep program, you can apply to learn from Big Sean and his tour staff here.
