Buick City Site Will See New Jobs With American Cast Iron And Pipe Company [Video]

The old Buick City site has been a weed garden for the last decade, but new life is being breathed into the lot by American Cast Iron & Pipe CO.

The company will build a factory on the site to produce the piping that will be used to bring water from Lake Huron into Flint.

The controversial pipeline was approved this Summer with the promise that it would produce local jobs, and now the promise is being fulfilled.

About 60 new jobs will be created in the area immediately, but there is a good chance that more will come as work starts.
