Cable Snaps On Cannonball Theme Park Ride [Video]

If this happened to me I would of instantly had a heart attack and died. Hearing the cable snap made my heart murmur kick. No thank you. I'll stick to the tilt-a-whirl and mini roller coasters.

I don't know about you, but I've never trusted these giant balls of death. Putting yourself inside a hamster ball, locking the door, and using two cables to fling you into the sky doesn't sound safe or fun. I don't know if South America's safety standards are not as strict as ours here in the USA, but this is just further proof why I will NEVER ride one of these contraptions. Luckily there were only non-life threatening injuries that occurred in this accident. Firefighters had to rescue the couple inside this ball of death, but the woman in the pod suffered a broken leg and the boyfriend only suffered minor injuries and bruises.
