The 1982 film 'Poltergeist' is considered a classic of the horror genre. Written and produced by Steven Spielberg, the movie tells the tale of the Freeling family, whose youngest daughter is kidnapped by vicious demons and evil spirits.
It takes a lot to upstage the President of the United States in a photograph, but these grade school kids have done it. We're not the only ones who think so. Even the president himself (or at least his Twitter account) labeled this the "picture of the day." We're pretty sure it's not because of the kid who's trying to eat his shirt. Disney has announced that their newest princess is Latina. Her name is Sofia and she'll be voiced by 'Modern Family's' Ariel Winter. She makes her first appearance in a Disney Channel movie on November 18th called 'Sofia the First: Once Upon a Princess.'

Then suddenly, a flash of inspiration zaps you or one of your buddies -- but all too often, the final product is just sad at best, or lands you in the slammer.
As we showed in our lost Disney songs list, no Disney film is set in stone from start to finish. Plots get written, songs get dropped and characters get redesigned. Looking at early Disney concept art is like finally reading that novel that your favorite movie was based on only to discover it's totally different. Still, there's a simple charm in seeing these characters immediately after being birthed, before they were fine tuned, polished and marketed through endless merchandise.
There's one thing we know for sure about little kids-- they can make practically anything seem adorable. Scrunched-up, twisted sour faces? Check. A boppin' on a bed rendition of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'? You betcha! Although we're a little dumbfounded as to how this "everything is ridiculously adorable" thing actually happens, we can't help but be sucked into the cuteness every darn time. This is especially true when it comes to Halloween.
