It looks like Chris Brown and his fans are willing to stop at nothing to make sure they see him at the top of the Billboard charts this week. The Virginia singer posts a photo to Instagram containing a series of instructions written by Instagram user @breezy_manuelcav, which detail how to listen to his brand new 45-track double album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon.

The post emphasizes that fans and listeners only have three days of tracking following the project's release for it to debut on the Billboard 200, being that it was released on Tues., Oct. 31, rather than the industry's standard release day of Friday. The instructions encourage fans to buy the album on iTunes first and post the receipt to their Twitter and Instagram accounts, but not to listen to it on iTunes itself. Instead, the instructions say to sign up for a free 30-day trial on multiple streaming services, including Spotify and Apple Music, where the streams will count as part of his sales.

Oddly enough, the post also tells fans to buy multiple copies of Heartbreak on a Full Moon, but not to purchase them on the same receipt, as one receipt counts as one sale. It also tells fans to mess around with the CD displays of the physical copies being sold in stores, pulling all of the copies to the front of the shelves for it to be better seen.

"[W]e are here to get Chris the recognition and respect he deserves," the post concludes.

It's not out of the ordinary for artists to promote their albums to the fullest on their social media accounts, but many commenters are expressing that the instructions may be a bit overkill in promotion. This is also following the platinum-selling hitmaker expressing his frustrations after earning lower album sales for his 2015 Royalty album.

We'll have to see how Breezy ends up in the running when the Billboard 200 albums chart slots are revealed next week. See the post below.
