Who was the first person you heard use the term 'YOLO'?  Odds are good that it was Drake, and now he thinks that he should have a share of the money that everyone is making off of his term.

Drake is threatening legal action against Macy's, Walgreens and a few other stores for using 'YOLO' on merchandise without his permission.

He spent a few days before Christmas taking pictures of displays at the stores with captions like, "Walgreens....you gotta either chill or cut the cheque."

He followed with another photo of a Peanuts T-shirt from Macy's that read, "Yolo is my motto." Drake captioned the shot, "Macy's...same goes for you."

Unfortunately for Drizzy, this is America and we don't always use the honor system like Canada does.  Lawyers have found that there are already more than 100 trademark applications for YOLO already.

I don't think that Drake and a group of horse riding Mounties will be coming anytime soon to get his royalty check, but who knows.  In the meantime, you should probably follow a Drake parody account on Twitter named 'DrakeDoinThings'. It takes a little time to poke fun a Drake's sensitive side, and will most definitely have you peeing in your pants from laughter.
