On the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, Lil Wayne returned home in New Orleans to hold his inaugural Lil Weezyana Fest at the Champions Square’s Bold Sphere Music on Friday night (Aug. 28). Among the surprise guests performing at the special event included Drake and a reunited Hot Boys.

According to Rap-Up, Weezy gave NOLA concertgoers an exciting two-hour long concert featuring many hometown heroes. After performing tracks from Tha Carter III album, he asked the crowd, “Can I take it back?”

This prompted Wayne to bring out Hot Boys members Juvenile, Turk and Mannie Fresh (sans the incarcerated B.G., whose family was in attendance) for their first reunion in over ten years. The group performed a medley of their classic hits including, "I Need a Hot Girl," “Bling Bling,” “Project Bitch" and “Back That Azz Up.”

Afterward, Wayne welcomed No Limit Records to the stage, led by Master P and featuring Mia X who performed "Make 'Em Say Uhh." But the Young Money leader wasn't done yet. He saved the best for last.

Drake closed out the show with a performance of his Meek Mill diss song “Back To Back,” which sent the crowd into a frenzy. Drizzy also performed "My Way," "HYFR" and "Know Yourself."

“I learned from the greatest to ever do this s---,” said Drake about his mentor and label boss. Wayne also gave a shout-out to his other superstar protege. “I want you to make some noise for the beautiful princess that couldn’t be here tonight to help us with this s---, Ms. Nicki Minaj.”

Other performers included Cory Gunz, Big Freedia, August Alsina, Shanell and 5th Ward Webbie.

Overall, Lil Wayne held it down for his beloved New Orleans and put on a great show for the people who called the Crescent City their home.
