It's safe to say that Fetty Wap is on the cusp of super stardom. With a bevy of hits at his disposal in the form of "Trap Queen," "679" and "My Way," the New Jersey rapper is back with his new banger "Boomin'" to crash the radio airwaves.

Instead of crooning and giving us a melodic tune to feast on, Fetty ventures into the trap and delivers a hard-hitting song. Fetty attacks the dark and ominous beat with aggressiveness. The 2015 Freshman Class alum even manages to pay homage to one of his favorite rapper -- Gucci Mane.

"Boomin, free my nigga Guwop you now how we doin’ / Zoowop and Im comin' through in / I might just put me in a Bentley coupe in," he raps.

Obviously, Fetty has a penchant for making radio bangers. So to see him veer in another direction and attack a track harder than what he's accustomed to doing is great. His XXL Freshmen Freestyle is gaining momentum and is undeniable right now. He recently dropped "Ride or Die," "Sum'n Quick," and even a new video for "Couple Bandz." He also was just featured on the cover of VIBE's digital magazine, which serves as another noteworthy accomplishment for the young star.
