Flint boxer Claressa Shields picked for 2012 Olympic Games in London
Flint native Claressa Shields has been picked to represent America for the 2012 Olympic games! She is single handily showing that something positive can indeed come out of Flint!
Seventeen-year-old Claressa Shields is going to London.
On Friday morning, the local boxer found out that she has qualified for a spot on the first-ever women’s boxing team at this year’s summer Olympic Games.
She will represent Team USA with pride.
