Flint Water Crisis Helps Water Outsell Pop For First Time

Reports are indicating that for the first time ever water is now outselling pop (or soda if you're not from Michigan).

The Flint Water Crisis is still a glooming dark cloud over the city with no apparent solution coming any time soon, but thanks to the crisis water is set to outsell pop for the first time ever.

According to Bloomberg lead poisoning the Flint water helped sales in the bottled water industry.

The craziest part about all of this is not one major water bottle company has reached out to give proceeds from bottled water sales to the Flint Water Crisis. Sure, they donated water, but what about actually donating money to help tackle the crisis? Just proves that its not about the people, its about the money.

I guess if one positive thing comes from the Flint Water Crisis its that more people are drinking water instead of pop.
